Native Vegetation
Native vegetation removal requires a planning permit under Clause 52.17 Native Vegetation. This covers all vegetation that is native to Victoria including dead trees on private land. Often when undertaking a planning permit you need to remove vegetation of bushfire safety or to obtain access to a block. The system has been greatly simplified in recent years and removal follows two distinct pathways being basic pathway or a detailed pathway. Both pathways have there requirements and the basic pathway is the cheaper and more preferred option.
